Think of a forest. It could be inside any of us or it could be in a fairy tale, or it could just be an illusion. Little Red Riding Hood was lost and has been eaten in the woods... ...In Japanese forests usually the ghosts are alive and singing...

The workshop will start with some improvisations which may be inspired by a song, a body movement or a drawing made by participants. Then we will enter towards our themes through some fairy tales or legends related to the woods and forests. In groups we will work with simple materials: wood branches, plastic sheets, big papers, ropes, clothes, lights, shadows and so on...

This workshop also will have an unusual facet of mixed cultural encounter, to create theatre between East and West.
