La cónica/lacónica was created in 1995 by Merce Gost and Alba Zapater following their interest in experiencing the different uses of the shadow. In 2002 Marta Alemany joined the company, which has participated in International Theatre Festivals in Italy, Russia, France, Belgium, Romania, Poland, Holland, Germany, Greece, Austria and Brazil.
