HAND SHADOWS WORKSHOP

In a world full of screens and digital gadgets, the art of creating shadows with our hands is a simple diversion still magical and fascinating.
Ombromanie has an immediacy and an ephemeral quality connected with our own physicality and our being as humans.
To master this art one starts with play and then structures it and develops it through practice and concentration. Participants will learn all the key positions of the hands to give life to shadow characters.
The workshop is linked to the exhibition by Lisa Borgenheimer, play and encoding of the shadow and actor performance, at the Wild Mazzini art gallery.
