StudioIBRIDO (Italy)

Stopmotion is an animation technique as ancient as cinema itself, through the decades technology has multiplied the expressive possibilities and simplified the life of the animator, but the basis of this art has remained unchanged maintaining all its artisan charm. Conducted by StudioIBRIDO, a team of young authors active for years in the production of films and animation content that -through the different experiences and sensitivity of its authors- manages every stage of the realization, from writing to post-production, the workshop will lead participants to the discovery of this incredible technique.
During the two days of the workshop you can discover the secrets of building a puppet and give him life, frame by frame, learning the basics of animation under the guidance and with the experience of animators Massimo Ottoni and Linda Kelvink.

Photographing Puppet Theatre in collaboration with IIS BODONI-PARAVIA

For some years now Incanti has dedicated a space to telling Puppet Theatre with images, whether video or photos: performances but also the backstage, the audience and the general atmosphere of the festival. Begun in 2018, the collaboration with the IIS Bodoni-Paravia is structured this year as a moment of meeting and exchange plus a small exhibition, curated by Stefano Rogliatti and Marco Emanuele, in which the classes of photography and video exhibit materials made in the edition of 2018 and at the same time documenting the present edition getting fun from peeking behind the scenes. The theme "the travel" therefore becomes work on the image but also a motive for meetings, discussions and insights.
